This work happens on Lenapehoking, the unceded homeland of the Lenape people — land they have cared for, and continue to care for, since long before it became New York City.

Birth knowledge has been passed down here for generations, long before any of the systems or practices I work within today. I hold that history with respect, and with gratitude to the Lenape people, past and present, who are still here, still connected to this land, and part of this city's story.
